About the house
We’re in the business of the pleasant surprise.
Alunivo is a free social casino with a single act on the bill. Here’s how that act came together, and the rules we keep backstage.
A name for the playbill
Every good illusionist needs a stage name, the kind painted in gold on a travelling trunk and announced once, grandly, before the curtain rises. Alunivo is ours: a name with a little lift and a little mystery to it, and no promise attached except the show itself. You don’t pay for a seat, you don’t queue for it and you certainly don’t need to sign anything. You simply arrive, the lights go down and the performance begins.
We started from a hunch that social casino games had become cluttered. Too many buttons, too many offers, too much noise pulling at the sleeve. A stage magician does the opposite. The table is bare, the hands are empty, and every eye is drawn to one small moment of wonder. That’s the feeling we wanted a slot machine to have.
One machine, polished to a shine
Rather than a lobby of fifty games, Alunivo has exactly one: The Grand Vanish. It’s a five-reel, five-payline machine dressed in the costume of an old-fashioned stage illusionist — top hats and white gloves, a crimson silk scarf, linking rings, a dove, the cups and the ball. Each symbol was drawn for this build, and each one earns its keep on the paytable.
Behind the costume sits honest machinery. Reel stops are drawn at random, the paytable is published in full, and the coin balance updates the moment a spin resolves. When you win, you see why. When you don’t, the reels simply fall quiet and wait for the next pass of the wand.
What we will never do
A good showman knows where the line is. Alunivo doesn’t take real-money wagers, doesn’t sell coins and doesn’t offer prizes of any kind. Coins exist only inside your browser tab; close it and they vanish, which, given the theme, felt only right. There are no accounts to create, no leaderboards to chase and no reminders designed to lure you back.
We also keep the door firmly marked for grown-ups. Alunivo is for adults aged 18 and over, and even for them it’s meant to be a short, bright interlude rather than a way to pass whole evenings. Our Responsible Play page sets out how we think about that.
The voice behind the curtain
Alunivo is run by a small team who care about typography, fair maths and a well-timed flourish in roughly equal measure. We answer every message that reaches Support, and we’re always glad to hear which symbol people secretly root for. (It’s usually the dove.)
